George`s Luncheonette in Patchogue

First time there, thought it was pleasant. Food is really good. Waitress explained each menu and specials.I would return again.

Best breakfast, anywhere. A true local place-it's fun to come and people watch. The staff is friendly and attentive.Just know it's cash only;there is an ATM near the door if you need. They know what a basted egg is here.😀

I like this place and in the past I have found it funny the way the staff is out right at closing. They don't seat people within 30 minutes of closing and I respect that. However, tonight my mother and I finished our dinner and were taking a moment to let our meals settle (I am 6 months pregnant and a bit delicate these days) and one of the waitresses aproached to tell us they would be locking the doors. It was 7:45 and they close at 8. We had already finished and paid and were just chilling for a sec. I thought it was rude and I won't be back again. It was just too far. I should have taken my tip back.

Excellent food and service is professional!

Cooks were not wearing masks or gloves while cooking but everyone else was. Also noticed one particular cook wiping his hands on his apron and back of his pants while arranging food on platters and to go orders with his bare hands.

Great people, nice atmosphere, very welcoming and courteous staff. Food is good. General diner food but always made however you could ask.

My father and I enjoy luck here weekly. Food is as you would expect from any diner, nothing exceptional. But an extremely friendly staff that will keep you coming back.

Food is ok, service can be a little lax. Take my mom there occasionally for breakfast or lunch, she likes it. A lot of older locals go there, it's a popular meeting place for them.

I give them two stars because they leave out all the drinks and the drinks just sit there in the wide open and then when someone wants a drink they take it out of those drinks like thats grossss

One of my favorite local neighborhood spots to grab breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, the places in the heart of town (toast, buttermilk’s, etc.) are alright. But it’s my feeling those places thrive more on the trendy vibe and ambiance than they do good food. This place is where it’s at
